I love sunsets, but then who doesn't? A sunset over the water is incredibly breathtaking with nothing to obstruct the view. The sparkly reflection of the sun on the water, the painted sky in shades of pinks, oranges, and purples is nothing short of spectacular. In fact, it's downright awe inspiring.
I may have to do this more often. I was the only one there and the uninterrupted time in that setting was a real treat. It was a time of reflection and putting some things to rest and letting go. It was good for the soul.
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Absolutely breathtaking! Sounds like a great time you had getting these shots :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fiery sunset! Since we moved I haven't had the chance to visit the coast so often and have been a bit far from any water... so I miss it and the way it interacts with the sun...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Annette! I agree, who doesn't love a beautiful sunset, especially over the water.
ReplyDeleteThose fingerless gloves are great for so many things. I bought my hubby a pair for fishing and he loves them!
Those pictures are stunning. Time spent waiting on Mother Nature is time well spent and sounds so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, Annette! I saw the Potomac when I visited my son who works at the Congressional Budget Office in DC. Beautiful river.
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing sunset photos!

Gorgeous photos of the river, Annette! It is incredibly cold here and we've had loads of snow overnight. Doesn't look like it's going to stop either.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS!!! :) T.
