Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday, friends!  Every Thursday I share what I'm thankful for.  Sometimes it's a serious or big thing and sometimes it's a goofy or small thing.  I believe that no matter what is going on in our lives there is always something to be thankful for.  Always.

Today I'm thankful I was able to enjoy a day out last weekend.  After being cooped up in the house for weeks, Michael took me to Annapolis where we hung out at Barnes & Noble and had dinner at Macaroni Grill.  I don't think I've enjoyed a day out as much as I did that day.  I've been paying for it ever since with a very sore knee, but it was so worth it!

I'm also thankful for
     * the sweet aroma of roses
     * cinnamon spice tea
     * my Kindle Fire
     * the power of music to uplift a weary spirit
     * sunsets

What are you thankful for today?

  1. Sometimes a day out is just what the doctor ordered!! What are you reading on your kindle fire?

  2. I love the idea of this post! You know, that's great to enjoy a day out like that every once in a while. We do get so cooped up over the winter- and it's really not fun to go out in the cold. But lately the weather's been so nice!

  5. Glad you enjoyed your outing!
    I'm thankful for grandkids, good health, unseasonably mild weather, and my tax office clients.

    I'm seriously thinking of getting a Kindle Fire. I have a big Amazon gift card that I've been hoarding since Christmas. Perhaps it will be my reward to myself when I hit 200 Etsy sales.

  6. So nice to hear that you were able to get out. Sometimes that is truly what the doctor ordered. :-)

    This week I'm thankful that the cold/flu bug has finally vacated the premises...it was not a fun couple of weeks with it circulating around here.

  12. Being house bound is not fun. I'm sure the day out was just what you needed and may even speed the healing process a bit.
