I lucked out and bought the sweetest, juiciest strawberries this week. I had to stop and take a picture before we ate them all! After I snapped this, we finished them off!

ReplyDeleteYum! I made fresh strawberry lemonade last week. It was so good. I had strawberries that were just about to turn and lemons...oh, boy did I have lemons from my hubby's grandparents tree. It was very yummy!

ReplyDeleteAnnette, wonderful close-up photo - absolutely amazing. I can almost smell and taste the sweet, juiciness of that succulent berry.
ReplyDeleteOne of the summer's greatest treats are all the delicious fruits and berries that come into season. I always miss those in the cold of winter - the sweet peaches and plums, the ripe melons and the delicious grapes and berries. For some reason the imported winter crops just aren't as flavorful or as succulent.
Beautiful photo! It looks good enough to eat.
