It was a gray gloomy day and the red paint on the old barn seemed to pop in the grayness. I find myself drawn to old barns and buildings. I need to stop more often and take pictures of them. Not so wordless today. Sorry about that!

Old barns do have character don't they ? The old ones have been through a lot and they seem to wear their history well and proudly. Love the photo, you did the old barn proud. ;).

I'm always tempted to photograph the barns I drive by - especially because they tend to be falling down and not long for this world - which is very sad.
