Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday I share what I'm thankful for.  Sometimes it's a serious or big thing, and sometimes it's a goofy or small thing.  I believe that no matter what is going on in our lives, there is always something to be thankful for.  Always.

I can't imagine what it would be like to be truly color blind.  To only see black and white is hard to comprehend.  One of the reasons I love spring is because color comes back, pushing away the gray gloominess of winter.   Today, I'm thankful for color and how it makes me feel alive and happy.

I'm also thankful for
     *  a box of new crayons
     *  my hairdresser
     *  inspiration at unexpected times or from unexpected places
     *  aha moments
     What are you thankful for today?

Have a wonderful Thursday!

  1. Color is so inspiring!
    My dad is color blind...but he still see's shades of color. He can't tell the difference between greens and blues or navy and black. But he'll still argue with you about what color something is...lol :)

  3. What a wonderful photo! I love the smell of crayons, which at one time was the most recognized scent around the world. I can't imagine being color blind either.

  4. My favorite treat when I was a kid was a new BIG box of crayons. I loved to color! There is so much color all around right now, so many things are blooming, it's lovely!

    This week - I'm thankful that my life, as boring as it may normally be is finally getting back to normal!!
    Spring Break for me and my boys, so a fun day at Disneyland was just perfect.
    I'm thankful that I have teen boys that are so fun, love to hang out with me and don't have that typical teen attitude of "I don't want to be around my parents". We always have the most fun together! Makes me super happy to be their Mom!

  6. Annette, these are some very wonderful things to be thankful for. Looking at the lush box of bright, beautiful crayons makes me what to dig out the box of crayons and one of the coloring books that I keep on hand for my grandkids. I'm thankful for my grandkids. :)
