Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday I share what I'm thankful for.  Sometimes it's a serious or big thing, and sometimes it's a goofy or small thing.  I believe that no matter what is going on in our lives, there is always something to be thankful for.  Always.

My daughter, granddaughter, and I took a road trip to visit family.  It was 2500 miles round trip and I'm so thankful it was uneventful.  Unlike last year when there were blown tires and forgotten bags!  You can read about that trip here, here and here.

 I'm also thankful for
     *  time spent with far away family
     *  birthday celebrations and cake
     *  road trips with beautiful views
     *  air conditioning in the car
     *  cruise control
     *  my own bed and pillow
What are you thankful for today?

Have a thankful Thursday!

  1. How fun! I love road trips and thank goodness yours was uneventful this year. I remember last years!!

    I'm thankful for a great little getaway my hubby and I were able to take before we all get back to work and to school.

    Cool nights, here in So Cal in August that's unusual, so it's a real treat to be able to have our windows open at night!

    A food truck lunch date with my son today!! Yum!

  2. Your trip sounds great and I know what you mean about getting home to your own bed. After a week entertaining a house guest I am grateful for the comfort of getting back to my regular routine. It is nice to shake things up every now and then to remind us of that!

  7. Such a great photo with so many generations of family in it. That's one that is destined to become treasured, not just now, but also by future generations.
