Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday I share what I'm thankful for.  Sometimes it's a serious or big thing, and sometimes it's a goofy or small thing.  I believe that no matter what is going on in our lives, there is always something to be thankful for.  Always.

I was out of town a couple of days this week to visit my granddaughter, Shylee.  It had been about six weeks since the last time I saw her and I was going through withdrawals!  I'm thankful I can just pick up and go see her when I want to.  And of course I'm always thankful for any time I can spend with her and her mommy even if she did tell me I am an old lady!

I'm also thankful for
     *  my new working dishwasher
     *  people who inspire me
     *  built-in bluetooth in the car
     *  Annie dog's excitement to see me when I came home

What are you thankful for today?

  1. I'm glad your little Miss is coming for a visit! I am both thankful and a little stressed over Amelia's dance company dress rehearsal tomorrow. We are coming up on performance and competition time. Exciting...and a little scary!

  3. What a wonderful thing to be thankful for!! She's such a sweetie. :-)

    This week...perfect California sunshine and warm temperatures. Not too many places in February you can walk around in short sleeves and flip flops!

    Lots of little smiles at work this week, always puts me in the best mood.

  4. I am thankful today because I found out that I am being Kidnapped by Bobby, Sarah & the kids and heading to NC the end of March to see Justin & Kadence as well as my brother & family. I CAN'T WAIT!! I so feel your pain about not being able to see your Grandchild all the time. I haven't seen Kadence in 5 mos, I so wish she was closer than 14hrs away

  5. Oh my gosh, Annette, I can't believe she is so grown up!! They grow up WAY too fast, as we know.
    I am grateful tonight for a quiet evening and looking forward to some family time this weekend.
