Focus On Life Week 22 ~ In Bloom

It's the last Saturday in May and we're focusing on what's in bloom.  We have lots of honeysuckle blooming and it smells so sweet!



My daughter gave me a red bud tree for Mother's Day and although the blooms are long gone, it is getting new leaves.

    Ah, I love the smell of Honeysuckle, too bad mine is probably long since bloomed in AZ.

    I like the look of the honey suckle blossoms as well as the smell. So dainty!

    My Hubby LOVES Honeysuckle, for some reason we don't see that many around here but the scent reminds us both of English Summer Evening walks :)

    Honeysuckle and jasmine have always been among my favorite fragrances. To me their sweet scent spells SUMMER. :)

    The honeysuckle sounds lovely. We top-dressed the rhodys with chicken manure late yesterday. My backyard is decidedly not lovely right now!

    The honeysuckle is gorgeous. That is a plant I've never had. Maybe someday! Jim and I just planted a baby red bud this week that my dad brought over from this yard. That is a favorite for both of us when flowering.
