We've had such an unusual summer...not as hot, less humid. I'm not complaining. In fact I've been outside more this summer than in the past. I've also been lazier this summer but didn't want to post a picture of ME being lazy, haha! So I found this one of Shylee that I took last summer when we went on vacation.
I missed last week but here is my photo for "about the ground". It's been quite dry the past month and the leaves are turning yellow and falling to the ground. It looks like fall but it's not.

Fab sunny picture for this week - esp. with the sprinklers going :)
ReplyDeleteThe photo with Shylee is a perfect summer picture. We were both thinking of water recreation for our pics this year. We should be gearing up for our fall leaves in a month or so. Your photo of them is so lovely - looks like they were artfully arranged in the grass.
ReplyDeleteTwo shots that are perfect for the prompt!
ReplyDeleteLovely summer shot. Makes me yearn for the warmer weather and Summer hols! (December for us)
ReplyDeleteMy "lazy days" this Summer have been more indoor that outdoor due to the temps. We are having the same thing happen here with the leaves dropping early.
ReplyDeleteHot Summers days are made for being lazy. Love the photo of Shylee relaxing under the spray of cool water - oh to be a kid again. :)
ReplyDeleteHi A. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE both of these pictures. Shylee relaxing, looks so grown up, pool side, such a perfect image of Summer :)
The leaves have been falling here too, we are definitely feeling like Fall but with weather in the high 80s and 90s for the last few weeks it is crazy, way too early.
Hope you have a lovely week, cheers, T. :)
Oh, now she really knows how to enjoy the summer!! Love this shot. And those little leaves,...funny, but we're getting them on (or should I say, off) one of our trees already too and that's very unusual for us. They usually aren't turning yellow and falling off until after Thanksgiving (parts of the desert are a bit odd as far as fall goes!).
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been a little unusual this year as well!
ReplyDeleteI saw some leaves changing color this weekend and almost cried! While they are so pretty, I'm just not ready for summer to end!
