New York City is a busy, bustling, crowded city every day of the year, with hundreds of places to go and things to see. Come Christmastime though, it becomes even more so. The lights, the windows, the trees, the tinsel are everywhere you look. Tired old buildings seem to come to life again when the sparkle of twinkling lights and garland are hung. And thousands of people fill the sidewalks to view the beauty of the season and prepare for the holidays. It is all at once, energizing and draining! I wish I could have stayed longer!
I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!!!
Did you know Smurfs are a creation made in Belgium! Oh the things I've learned since moving here :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great NYC experience!
We lived JUST across the river (in NJ) for 13 years. It can be a magical place. I loved going in for the theater but then I always wanted to hurry back home right after. Big T worked in there for a few years and that was enough.
