Christmastime in NYC

New York City is a busy, bustling, crowded city every day of the year, with hundreds of places to go and things to see.  Come Christmastime though, it becomes even more so.  The lights, the windows, the trees, the tinsel are everywhere you look.  Tired old buildings seem to come to life again when the sparkle of twinkling lights and garland are hung.  And thousands of people fill the sidewalks to view the beauty of the season and prepare for the holidays.  It is all at once, energizing and draining!  I wish I could have stayed longer!

I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!!!

  2. We lived JUST across the river (in NJ) for 13 years. It can be a magical place. I loved going in for the theater but then I always wanted to hurry back home right after. Big T worked in there for a few years and that was enough.

  11. Annette, I am really glad you had a wonderful time in New York.

I have never wanted to go there until recently.

I hear, all the time, that Christmas is the best time to go because they make it seem so magical and your photos re-enforce that.

I LOVE the huge Red Christmas tree Balls :)

It reminds me of London and all the fun and beauty of the Holiday season, I really miss that.

    Have a lovely Thursday, T. :)
