Every Thursday I share something I'm thankful for.
In light of the tragic events in Japan, I'm thankful that in my little corner of the world, life is good. It's not perfect by any means and I know it will never be perfect. But we're happy and healthy. Michael has a good job for now, we have a nice home, cars that run, food to eat. I know how blessed I am.
And I am thankful!
What are you thankful for today?

Annette - I am grateful that my family and friends are safe, warm and happy. AND for all my blog friends that brighten my days.
ReplyDeleteHugs - Marie
My heart truly aches for the people affected by the disasters that have befallen Japan. It almost seems unreal...surrealistic, like a frightening nightmare.
ReplyDeleteMuch like you Annette, I find myself grateful, in the light of Japan's plight, for so many wonderful things we often take for granted, such as good health and family, for shelter, food and safe water to drink.
Adore the pictures in your blog today, so pretty and peaceful. :)
It's horrors like what's going on in Japan that make me happy that I can get up another day and have absolutely nothing evenful going on! It's puts even the mediocre in perspective.
ReplyDeleteOh your photos are so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteIt breaks my heart what has happened in Japan and I am truly grateful to those men who are literally committing suicide to save their country and other parts of the world by working still at the Nuclear power plant. Words really can't express their bravery.
Thanks for sharing such great pics and making us think. Cheers, T :)
Thankful for the time I got to spend with my family this week during our spring break... :) http://orangiesattic.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteLovely, Annette. And something we often forget until times like this.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for doing okay in most ways. Yes, not perfect, but thankfully not any worse.
I am thankful that my husband now gets to work from home and we get to be together each and every day, all day. There is nothing better !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Annette.
ALOHA FROM HAWAII !!!
I'm thankful to have a warm, cozy apartment when it's pouring rain outside - like today!
