Finally, after three years, my sewing room is getting a redo. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!! I'll be showing you bits and pieces until it's finished and then I'll do a full reveal with before and after photos. This past weekend the room was painted pink! I love the color during the day, but it's a little overpowering at night. I'm counting on it being less so when the furniture is in place! Michael and Shylee started putting together the furniture from Ikea. I got a drop leaf table and three bookcases. Two of them have glass doors and one of them is open on top with drawers on the bottom. I hope by next week I can start the organizing and decorating.
Have a terrific Tuesday!

So exciting! Mine isn't going to be ready for a while yet - haven't even started painting!
ReplyDeleteThe soft pink is great :)
So fun Annette!! It's so exciting to redo a space. Ikea has the best organization solutions too and at a price that doesn't break the bank. I can't wait to see the finished results!!
ReplyDeleteI like the soft pink and once all your furniture and accessories and art get in the room, it will be fantastic!!
There are only 2 words that come to my mind - exciting and fun - and seems those are the first words that popped into everyone else's mind as well.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your "reveal" when the room is finished and know it will be a happy room for you to work, create and get inspiration in. :)
I think the pink is going to be perfect and how fun that it became a family project! Shylee is getting SO big already. I bet she loves the color, too.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! Pink is such a cheery color.
ReplyDeleteVery exciting indeed. x
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you :)
ReplyDeleteIKEA rocks :)
(and so do those amazing helpers :)
Cheers, T. :)
