Tickle Me Tuesday

I am so excited I can hardly contain myself.  I have two sisters and both of them are coming here on Friday.  One of them lives in Arkansas but works in NY and I've been able to see her three times in the last year.  It's been three years since I've seen my other sister who also lives in Arkansas.  The two of them will be in NYC for Thanksgiving and then they're coming here for a day!  I can't wait!

Since sisters are tickling my fancy, I went looking for sister items on Etsy.  These are my favorites!

What's tickling your fancy this week?

Silent Sunday ~ Bottoms Up

While my sister was visiting, we spent an afternoon in Annapolis.
The ducks in the harbor were very entertaining!

Have a spectacular Sunday!!!

Thankful Thursday ~ Time With My Sister

I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with my sister this week.  I usually get to see her every couple of years, but thanks to her job, this past weekend makes the third time in six months!  We always have a good time together and we laugh...a LOT!!  She came by train on a cold, drizzly, gray morning.  And, well, you know me, I had to take pictures!

What are you thankful for today?

Have a wonderful Thursday!!!

Blogtoberfest ~ Day Six ~ A Visit With My Sister

I had the best weekend ever visiting with my sister, Carolyn.  She lives in Arkansas but is a consultant on a project in NYC for a while.  The wonderful thing about that is she is close enough to come down on the train and visit me here in Maryland!

While she was here we went to the annual Winefest at Sotterly.  We tasted some incredibly good wines and some equally incredibly bad wines!  We ate, drank, listened to the live bands and walked around enjoying the beautiful day.  I was beyond happy to share it with my sister!

I didn't take too many pictures...guess I was too busy tasting wine!
