While she was here we went to the annual Winefest at Sotterly. We tasted some incredibly good wines and some equally incredibly bad wines! We ate, drank, listened to the live bands and walked around enjoying the beautiful day. I was beyond happy to share it with my sister!
I didn't take too many pictures...guess I was too busy tasting wine!

Have a great Wednesday!!!
Oh you remind me of my husband. He works with many guy who make home made Italian wine...some of it's good....some of it is not so good. We always stare at it and sniff it first ! Some of it I'm sure could take the paint of the car!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day! I'm glad you got to spend time with your sister. I miss mine. The last time I saw her was when her hubby had to have heart surgery in Dallas almost two years ago and we drove up to visit them. She lives in Boston with my Mom (or should I say NEAR my mom...not WITH her) and we haven't been up there since Jan 2009.
ReplyDeleteTime with sisters is always special!

Remember - it takes a bad wine to make you appreciate a good wine.

I hope you are feeling better today :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful time with your Sister, what a joy to be able to spend time with her. :)
And the weather looked lovely and so does the wine :)
Have a lovely Wednesday T. ;)
Looks like it was a beautiful day! What fun!! Would never have wine tasting where I live :(
ReplyDeleteThat old dress looks cool - but I'm glad we get to wear pants :)
I'm glad you are feeling better and were able to get out and enjoy such a lovely day with your sister. My biggest problem at wine festivals is keeping my debit card inside my purse. The more wine I taste the harder it gets to put the card away - LOL!
