My daughter sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers that contained pine
and cedar branches.I was fixated with the cedar!
I took this photo with the 28mm macro tube. I'm still getting used to the tubes!

Christmas is just a week away...are you ready?!
Oh! These are beautiful! What a sweet gift.
ReplyDeleteLove those close ups - the textures and the colors are amazing!
ReplyDeleteTotally beautiful .... love your close up photos. Makes me realise even more the true beauty of nature.
ReplyDeletewhat wonderful shots, love the texture and can almost smell the cedar scent.....
ReplyDeletethank you for the visit over at my blog, have a wonderful week....
Incredible macro shot, Annette. Cedar does have a distinct character to its foliage, especially up close, making it much different than pine or fir needles. Love your top photo, all it needs is a couple of small ornaments and it would make for a pretty Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent and beautiful macros. I like the color and light.
ReplyDeleteSo festive! The second shot is just perfect -- very nice!
ReplyDeleteLove your macro, the details you can see are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMore amazing macro shots! I bet your flowers with the pine smell wonderful.

ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!
I don't know what a macro tube is, but the photos are great, so it must have worked well! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery interesting photos, and now am in trouble. Have never heard of the macro tube. Just when I thought I "had it all'. LOL
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet gift and beautiful shots, Annette.
ReplyDeleteI am nearly ready, as of Wednesday evening. Looking forward to Christmas but especially to the five days my daughter and her family, including my grandsons(!), will be here for a visit.
Have a truly delightful, merry, and bright Christmas, Annette! Best wishes for a blessed 2012, as well!
