Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday I share something I'm thankful for.  Sometimes it's a big thing and sometimes it's a small or goofy thing.  I believe no matter what is going on in your life, there is always something to be thankful for.

Today I'm thankful we got rain and not snow!  While other parts of the state is getting the white stuff, it missed us.  I enjoy the snow around Christmas, but since I had to be out today, I'm glad I just got wet without slipping and sliding!

I'm also thankful for:
     * uneventful dentist visits
     * internet shopping
     * the pharmacist who took the time to call
     * coupons and sales
     * twinkle lights

What are you thankful for today?

So Many Memories

  1. A beautiful raindrop photo and an equally beautiful list of things to be thankful for! I agree with every one of them and I thank you for reminding me every Thursday to stop and remember all the good things in my life.

  2. I'm thankful for the opportunity to study (and loving it).

  3. Wonderful sentiment and lovely photo.I have a lot to be thankful for this year as well.

  4. What a lovely raindrop photo! Makes me want to put on my rain boots and go splashing!!

    This week...friends that have filled our home, slightly warmer temps and less wind, soccer matches my son will play this coming weekend, a finished crochet scarf that I thought I'd never get done in time to give as a gift!!

    Happy Thursday!

  5. All great things to be thankful for! I for one, totally agree with the first one. I would take rain everyday in the winter if it meant no snow.

  6. I'm thankful we still have siding on our house after last nights howling wind!

  7. I'm with you anytime I have to go out I would much rather have rain then snow. I'm thankful that we don't have any snow yet in Chicagoland. A couple of days before Christmas is good enough for me.
    Everyday Inspired

  8. Ha! being thankful for rain in December! Rain is good, especially if it is combined with Southern wind - warm, I mean. Otherwise, I prefer snow!
