Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday I share something I'm thankful for.  Sometimes it's a big thing and sometimes it's a small or goofy thing.  I believe no matter what is going on in your life, there is always something to be thankful for.

Today I'm thankful we got rain and not snow!  While other parts of the state is getting the white stuff, it missed us.  I enjoy the snow around Christmas, but since I had to be out today, I'm glad I just got wet without slipping and sliding!

I'm also thankful for:
     * uneventful dentist visits
     * internet shopping
     * the pharmacist who took the time to call
     * coupons and sales
     * twinkle lights

What are you thankful for today?

So Many Memories

    This week...friends that have filled our home, slightly warmer temps and less wind, soccer matches my son will play this coming weekend, a finished crochet scarf that I thought I'd never get done in time to give as a gift!!

  5. All great things to be thankful for! I for one, totally agree with the first one. I would take rain everyday in the winter if it meant no snow.

  7. I'm with you anytime I have to go out I would much rather have rain then snow. I'm thankful that we don't have any snow yet in Chicagoland. A couple of days before Christmas is good enough for me.

  8. Ha! being thankful for rain in December! Rain is good, especially if it is combined with Southern wind - warm, I mean. Otherwise, I prefer snow!
