I Heart Macro

Just a couple of things I can't do without in the sewing room!

What is something you can't do without when creating?

I'm joining Lori at Studio Waterstone for I Heart Macro.

Have a wonderful day,

  2. The first photo is so colorful and the second one had me thinking it was something like the Empire State Building when I first looked at it! Fun photos!

I can't live without my pliers. Each has it's own purpose and I usually have about 6-10 tools in my lap or right beside me at once. I'm missing one set of pliers at the moment and it's driving me nuts!

  4. Love the picture of the pins and glad to find you back in the sewing room.
What can't I do without.... I guess if I had to pick one tool I use more than any other I would have to say scissors. And then there is the coffee!

  5. I love the shiny pin heads.
Last week I packed up 99% of my sewing room (an ending of an era) so your pics make me nostalgic. Seeing as I need creativity to keep sane, I still keep that left side of my brain flowing with my objects of necessity being my camera and a pen and paper.
    Cheers,

I love the symmetry of the middle
    one :)

I have my Mom's (which was also her Mom's) thimble but I never use one :)

Pins on the other hand I use A LOT!!!

Happy Sunday evening, cheers, T. :)

  8. Cool! I have a thimble but have never get used to wearing it when I do my needlework.

  9. Great photos! Love your colorful pins -- and the closeup of the thimble is amazing.

I sew without a thimble, but I can't do without my 6.5" square acrylic ruler and a handy little sewing notion called a Purple Thang.

  10. Great macro shots. The colorful pins look like Christmas ornaments.
I've a thimble just like the one in your photo. Photographed in macro mode, makes it look big enough to house a little elf quite comfortably. :)
