I Heart Macro

This is a regular shot of a 3/8 inch button.  I actually have nine of them for a project.
Here is the macro shot.

What a difference!
I really do heart macro!

I'm joining Studio Waterstone for I Heart Macro.
Go ahead and check out the incredible macro and close up photos!

Happy Sunday!

I wish I had a camera that could do macro shots. It looks like a lot of fun!

That's quite a difference, and I love your button :)

Wonderful! I thought it might be a filigree ball meant for a bead, but I was expecting something totally round rather than a button. Great shots!

And to Kelly, if you have a digital camera at all, it will likely do great macro shots. I have only the most basic digital camera. It does macro much better than anything else. I just had to find the right setting which I now use all the time, and the right amount of light, and that's it.

(I just can't take a decent photo of anything else. There, the secret is out! Please join us. You don't need expensive equipment for this one!) --Sharyl

I agree with Sharyl-I thought the picture was of a filigree bead for jewelry! Great detail!

wow - way cool!! I love the first shot though, too. The shadows on it are nice and then the macro shot makes you appreciate it even more,
