Dear Friends,
Every Thursday I share what I'm thankful for. Sometimes it's a serious or big thing, and sometimes it's a goofy or small thing. I believe that no matter what is going on in our lives, there is always something to be thankful for. Always.
I haven't mentioned it before, but my orthopedist sent me back to physical therapy after I developed Achilles tendinitis. Not only was it painful to walk on my foot, but it was undoing the work that was accomplished previously on my knee and causing more pain there also. I'm thankful that I'm doing better and have been semi discharged. The biggest thing I'm grateful for is kinetic tape that is used on the back of my leg.

This is the same tape you may have seen some of the athletes wearing during the Olympics in London. The tendinitis isn't healed yet, but the tape allows me to function with much less pain. I call it magic tape!
I'm also thankful for
* umbrellas
* a husband who likes to cook
* a new hair cut
* home
What are you thankful for today?
Keep smiling and keep creating!

Glad the tape is working. Hopefully the pain goes away for good soon!
ReplyDeleteToday I'm thankful for my grandfather's successful surgery. He is 89 and had hernia surgery yesterday. I'm so thankful he is recovering well!
Good to know the tape is working! I've heard a bit about it and that it can really do wonders.
ReplyDeleteThis week - Fall Break!
A week off work to recharge and get caught up on some things I'd been wanting to do, but couldn't find the time.
The marvels of modern medicine is amazing. Glad this wonderful technology is helping you and is alleviating the pain and discomfort.
ReplyDeleteGuess since today is Thursday, it will be the day my hubby does diagnostics on my computer. I am thankful he does it as I wouldn't know where to begin. :)
Magic tape - who knew! And umbrellas, really? We could use a little rain 'round here. I can't believe I just typed that out loud.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for the gorgeous Autumn colors that are turning up everywhere I look and the way a sweater can wrap around and hug you like an old friend on a cool morning.
