Thankful Thursday

With the busyness of the holidays, Shylee visiting, and losing track of what day of the week it was for the last  three weeks, I'm finally remembering when Thursday is!  I'm very happy to get back to the weekly Thankful Thursday post.

Every Thursday I share what I'm thankful for.  Sometimes it's a serious or big thing, and sometimes it's a goofy or small thing.  I believe that no matter what is going on in our lives, there is always something to be thankful for.  Always.

I am so thankful for the time we were able to spend together during the holidays.  Between Christmas and Erin's birthday we had some great times and made wonderful memories.  My heart was a little sad that Sean couldn't be here, but I'm thankful for technology that allowed us to visit via face time with the ipads!

I'm also thankful for:
     *  settling back into a routine
     *  my new Toyota Rav4
     *  the hopefulness of a new year
     *  my comfy warm bed to fall into at night

What are you thankful for today?

Happy Thursday!

  3. Holiday memories with family are amongst the best aren't they!! So glad you were able to have most of your family there. I know how you feel about not having everyone - most of my family still lives in Canada so I rarely get to see them. We are always doing things with my husbands family who lives close, and while I love them, it's not my family. Thanks heavens tho for texts/Skype etc...to at least stay in touch my family many miles away.

    This week...

I caught a nasty cold, but I'm thankful I'm still off on Winter Break from work so I didn't have to take any time off and I could just rest up.

Monday is back to work for me and I'm happy that we will be getting back in to routine.

A mini break just up the coast with my hubby for a couple days was a real nice way to reconnect after a busy Holiday season.

And oh yeah...a computer that works!! :-D

I'm glad you are loving the new car. Did you get it all figured out?

  6. I'm thankful for paycheck from now until the end of tax season. And I'm thankful for a warm, dry house in this cold, damp weather.

  7. Shylee looks adorable in the picture :)
Yes, nothing like a comfy warm bed in this bitterly cold weather, although the sun has come out today, a bit weak, but still! Thankful for that too!!

  8. Lovely Christmas time photos, they will be fondly looked upon in Christmases yet to come.

I too find myself thankful that the hubbub of the holiday season has wound down, decorations are all neatly tucked away in their boxes and bins, Christmas music is no longer being played in every shop and store, and that we can return to the comforts of our old routine.
