Movie Preview~Blogtoberfest 2012 Day 20

Hi Friends,
I first saw the trailer to this movie back in May or June when my son-in-law pulled it up on the computer for us to watch.  It was long for a trailer, but it sure had me hooked.  Michael listened to the audio book during our road trip and told me all about it without giving away too much.  I was even more convinced that I wanted to see the movie.   Here is the extended trailer for Cloud Atlas.

It comes out next Friday, the 26th.  We probably won't see it that weekend, but definitely as soon as we can!
What was the last movie you went to see?

Have a great weekend!

  1. Hi Annette,
this looks like something my hubby would love to see. We'll probably only get to see it once it's translated to German :)
The last movie we watched was Madagaskar 3. I didn't like it as much as the original one.

  2. Interesting for sure! I hadn't heard anything about it before. I'm not a big Halle Berry fan, but I do like Tom Hanks and really like Jim Broadbent.

We don't go to the movies too often. Usually with the kids or the occasional date night. I think the last one we saw was Trouble with the Curve with Clint Eastwood - it was pretty good.

    Have a nice Saturday!

  3. Oh.
    Goodness.
    Annette.

    Must see. Wow.

And, well, girls night movie one night was Magic Mike. I'm almost embarrassed to say ;) I caved to peer pressure. Didn't regret it, must also admit that! LOL

  4. LOL! What was the last movie I saw in a theater - should I even admit this?? I have a very hard time sitting down long enough to watch a movie and the last one I saw in a theater was Superman II. Seriously. Egads!

  5. The trailer looks fantastic, really makes me want to go see the movie.
My hubs and I don't go to movies very often, we find the sound too loud and it hurts our ears. The last movie we saw was Lord of the Rings and though it was a spectacular film, John and I were terribly uncomfortable with the volume of the sound.

  6. I can't even remember the last time I saw a movie I wanted to see - and not a kids movie. This looks amazing. I would love to see Anna Karennina - it looks like another epic.
