Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday I share something I'm thankful for.  With Easter approaching and reflecting on the meaning of the holiday, I am thankful for my faith.  There have been times in my life that I wouldn't have made it through without my faith in God and His strength.  It is very much a part of who I am and what drives me.
Life is not perfect, people are not perfect, circumstances are not perfect, but I find perfect peace in knowing that God loves me.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. I am thankful for the fact the tattle tale screaming guinea pig didn't wake up the kids as I was hiding Easter candy in the basement ...at midnight!!! oof!

  4. Sometimes the meaning behind a holiday is lost in all the paraphernalia that we decide should go with it. Thanks for gentle but lovely reminder. :)

For myself I am thankful for far too much to even begin to mention. Each day is a gift, a blessing a time to cherish.

  6. I'm thankful for so many things, big and small. For example, I'm really thankful for this cup of coffee I'm drinking right this very minute that's keeping me awake :) Also, I'm thankful that tomorrow I will get to see family friends I've not seen since last August.

  11. I love to hear that. I, too, cannot imagine not having faith, not having that support and knowledge that the perfect Someone has my back always. And in times of crisis, how in the world do who don't pray stay sane? I know it's what keeps me sane.

I'm thankful for a bloggy friend who is so darn like me. (Except that I'm nowhere's near as crafty and creative as you!)
