Thankful Thursday ~ Sunshine ~ Blogtoberfest Day 6

We get caught up in the business of living our day to day lives and sometimes forget to stop and be thankful.  And some days, when it seems like the world is against us, it's really hard to find something positive to focus on.  Every Thursday I share something I'm thankful for no matter how small.

 Found on Pinterest

Today I'm thankful for the sunshine!  After weeks of dreary, gray, dark, wet, gloomy days, the sun is finally shining and I couldn't be more thrilled. My mood lifted just like the gloominess did.  I need the sun!

I'm also thankful for
boxes that arrived on my porch (goodies I'll tell you about next week)
the ability to laugh at myself
     a good night's sleep
my son's safe travels on a cross country road trip
What are you thankful for this week?

  1. I'm thankfully for unseasonably mild weather and beautiful foliage.

  2. Lovely things to be thankful for. A box of goodies...can't wait to hear about what you got.

ps...I linked up with you today for Thankful Thursday. ;-)

  3. Oh, I so understand the need for sun! Second sunny day in about 10 days of dreary weather...yay!

love boxes on porches, can't wait to hear about them!

  4. Sunshine is always something to be thankful for, and we have had some wonderful days in the Chicagoland area this week. I am thankful for family and friends. Since my daughter left for college I have been making more time to hang out with friends.

  5. "Cross country road trip" got me thinking about cross-country skiing! So, you can imagine in what stage of autumn we are already... well, not really - it is still yellow and orange around but the temperatures go steadily lower... Ah, I am thankful for WARM sunhsine!

  6. I am thankful for a perfectly crispy Autumn day that actually put me in the mood for the new season! Yay!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment.
